Application to the Respiratory Care Program

 

APPLY TO THE PROGRAM BEFORE JULY 1, 2010 FOR YOUR CHANCE TO RECEIVE ONE OF 10 (TEN) $1,000.00 SCHOLARSHIPS.

APPLICANT MUST BE ACCEPTED INTO THE PROGRAM TO RECEIVE AWARD
 

Applicants are strongly encouraged to request to have their transcripts sent ELECTRONICALLY to UTMB whenever possible. This greatly expedites processing and improves the accuracy of transcript evaluation. The accepted standard for this process in Texas goes by the name: SPEEDE.
 

Admission Requirements


To be considered for admission to the Program in Respiratory Care, all applicants must present official documentation of the following (Application Deadline For Fall 2010 is Aug 1):

  1. 61 semester hours of specified prerequisites from an accredited college or university;
  2. Successful completion of the Texas Academic Skills Test (TASP);
  3. A minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  4. Career Ladder applicants must present their NBRC Registry Credential.
