BSRC Open House

      Dear Prospective Students,

            My name is Dr. Jon Nilsestuen and I am the Chairman for the Respiratory Care Department. I cordially invite you to attend any of our Open House events for the spring semester. The Open House events are scheduled for the third Friday of every month. This event is sponsored by the SAHS Office of Student Affairs and the Office of Enrollment Services.

During the Open House, you will be able to learn about UTMB, the School of Health Professions, as well as well as our Respiratory Care Program. You will be given the opportunity to interact with admission advisors, financial aid counselors, as well as faculty from the Department of Respiratory Care. We will discuss specific issues related to each of you as prospective students:

•   Prerequisite advisement
•   Financial aid
•   Application for admission process (Fall 2008)

·         Scholarships available for early applicants

·         BSRC, BSRC-PA, BSRC-PT and BSRC-CL Degree Tracks

·         Respiratory Care Sciences as it relates to health care delivery and career development

You will also be given the opportunity to tour our student laboratories as well as interact with current students in our program.
