ETHICS IN RESEARCH
Virtually all institutions require that all research involving human subjects, whether funded by an external organization or not, must comply with regulations for human subject research established by the Federal Government (see the readings from Step 1).
Step 2 - Becoming Certified
To ensure that you are familiar with how the the rights and welfare of research subjects are protected, you are to become familiar with this topic by completing a certification course through the
Human Participant Protection Education for Research Teams site at the National Institutes of Health. After you complete the course, email a copy of your certificate to your instructor. You cannot send me the web link (URL) of your certificate, you will need to copy-and-paste your certificate into your email. Earning this certificate is all you need to do to complete Assignment 4.
