| Description: The student will be given the opportunity to demonstrate: 1) knowledge of the physiological conditions under which normal and abnormal urine components are formed; 2) the physical, chemical, and microscopic properties of urine and body fluids in both normal and pathologic conditions; 3) the ability to select and perform appropriate techniques for the detection of human parasites; and 4) the ability to identify clinically significant human parasites and associate them with the disease process elicited. | Prerequisite: None |
