| Description: The student will be given the opportunity to: 1) select a clinical laboratory methodology for trial use by surveying the literature; 2) apply method evaluation principles, statistics, and experiments to judge the acceptability of a selected method; 3) identify the potential sources of error; 4) identify advantages and limitations of the method in terms of cost, time, and adaptability to the clinical laboratory; 5) write a manuscript according to the format of scientific journals; and 6) prepare IRB forms. | Prerequisite: None |
