Advanced Immunohematology University of Texas Medical Branch Clinical Laboratory Sciences   Offers Continuing Education in Immunohematology Description: The applicant will be given the opportunity to discuss the concepts of, evaluate the results of, and interpret immunohematology techniques in situations including but not limited to incompatibility, transfusion reactions, hemolytic anemias, and multiple antibodies. Prerequisites: MLT/MT standing OR permission of the instructor      - AND - Basic Immunohematology course. Contact Hours: The applicant may earn 15 continuing education contact hours. The University of Texas Medical Branch, Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences, is an approved provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences through the ASCLS P.A.C.E.® program. Fifteen one-hour, on-line lessons will be offered over the fall semester of each year. Fee: $ 200 Presenter: The presenter, Camellia St. John, MEd, MT (ASCP) SBB, is an Associate Professor in the Clinical Laboratory Sciences Department at the University of Texas Medical Branch.
