To prepare our students to face these challenges, our program at UTMB incorporates interactive discussions and laboratories, research, and clinical training. As a component of this large academic health center, our department affords students unusual opportunities to participate in stimulating educational environments while gaining practical experience in clinical laboratory medicine.
